IT’S ME, YOUR EMAIL PAL

BUSINESS OWNERS COME TO ME WHEN THEY’RE DONE WITH DANCING ON INSTAGRAM, FED UP WITH FEELING OVERWHELMED, AND READY FOR REAL ROI.

IF THAT’S YOU, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

There’s a look in your eye that tells me you’re ready. Ready to say goodbye to having to constantly show up on Instagram. Ready to stop dancing on Reels to make a sale or two. Ready to build a business that sees steady sales without you burning out all the time.

But you’re not sure how the hell to get there…

Every man and his dog is telling you to start a YouTube channel, focus on SEO, create a digital product, reinvent the wheel… it’s overwhelming. So instead of doing any of that, you do nothing. You go back to looking for trending audio and faffing about in Canva.

I’m here to tell you that there is an answer.

And it’s EMAIL.

You might be thinking, “But Lorna, email’s dead isn’t it? That’s what the man on YouTube told me, anyway…” - the thing is though, email marketing still to this very day drives the highest ROI of any marketing channel.

And, with me by your side, you could see that ROI for your business. Ready?

HEY, I’M LORNA.

I’m your no-BS, hustle-hating, jargon-free email marketing expert.

I worked in corporate digital marketing for multi-million-pound e-commerce businesses for over 8 years, and now I’m bringing that Big Business Energy to you.

I ditched corporate life 4 years ago and never looked back. Now, I help the small-but-mighty businesses of the world tap into the power of email marketing to bring home the bacon - and get more of the world’s money into your pocket, not Jeff Bezos’.

WHAT MATTERS TO ME

I care about everything.

Sure, email marketing’s my jam. But I care as much about your entire business as you do. When we work together, you get all my e-commerce and biz brain to make sure email’s one part of a well-oiled machine.

I’m a part of your team.

I’m a people-person. When you work with me, you work with me - and I become part of your team. No middle-men, no being passed from department to department - just me and you, growing your business.

People matter the most.

Money in your bank matters too, but it’s the people who give you that money that matter to me. My approach is customer-first, building and nurturing relationships to bring you the sale.

Data, not biased opinions.

There’s no guesswork here. No estimates, no ‘meh, who knows’ - we test, we analyse data, and we refine. Every marketing decision is based on real data from your audience, not best guesses.

THE ROAD TO RIGHT NOW

  • After school, I had no idea what to do with my life. I didn’t want to get into tonnes of debt just for uni parties, so instead I worked in retail (selling baby stuff) and visited my friends at their unis at the weekends. I’d been working in the same retail job since I was 16 and didn’t see much of a future…

  • As time ticked by, I realised I needed to make the most of the family-run business I’d found myself in and muck in to get the work done. I said yes to pretty much anything, from calling customers to product photography to demonstrating the ins-and-outs of every pushchair known to man… In amongst that stuff, I found a little flame of enjoyment in one particular area: the website stuff.

So, when the business was sold to Morrisons (and I’d finished recruiting and training the 200+ new store colleagues) I took myself back to basics to learn about this e-commerce and marketing malarkey that had lit a fire in my belly.

  • After that I bounced between jobs: from TV shopping channels to small breweries and even a waste management company - nothing seemed to last longer than a year. I was bored, uninspired and looking for a new challenge. I wanted more than the 8-5 chained to a desk lifestyle.

In the evenings and weekends, I dabbled in side-hustles to escape the monotony of the corporate world. I trained as an eyelash technician and saw clients in my parents’ spare room. I sold home decor prints on Etsy. I even sold a few photos I’d taken.

And just as I realised there was a bigger world out there than just these corporate jobs I hated, my personal life fell apart and I entered a phase of what can only be described as complete and utter meltdown.

  • In a series of unfortunate events, my life turned upside down and I found myself out of a job and feeling completely lost.

Then, I got bored of things happening to me and decided to do something about it.

I looked back over my 7 years of corporate work and realised I knew sh*t that could help people. So I offered my services to local businesses - and signed my first client!

  • Ah, the year we would all rather forget…

As the world pivoted and everything moved online, business picked up in the digital marketing world! This year I had my first 3 speaking gigs, hosted workshops and launched my podcast, Digital Discussions Unfiltered.

  • When we all realised lockdown wasn’t just ‘a couple of weeks’, businesses across the globe suffered. And my clients were no exception.

Through ups-and-downs, I lost clients and gained clients. I launched The Ecommerce Accelerator. I continued to learn and explore. And I tried to weather the storm(s) as best I could.

2022 was the year I was diagnosed with severe depression, and it was a wake-up call. I’d been building a business that served other people - and now it was time to make the most of that freedom and autonomy and travel the world with my laptop.

So I sold almost everything I owned and tested the nomadic life. Surfing, scuba diving, swimming in waterfalls and then jumping out to write a few client emails felt really good in the Bali sun.

  • With crystal clear clarity, big scary goals and surrounded by an incredible support system, this year looks like it’ll be a good’un.

I’m ready to support more businesses than ever and have a real impact - and see more of the world while I’m at it!

and so it continues…
